The Office of Public Engagement (OPE) is the primary point of contact between the business community and the Department of Commerce. OPE drives the Secretary’s collaboration with the public and private sectors by leveraging Commerce’s business support infrastructure and deep network of stakeholder relationships. Our mission is to provide information on Department resources, policies, and programs to business communities and serve as an intermediary between external relationships and the Department on behalf of the Office of the Secretary.
