Preventing Religious Discrimination in the Workplace

Session 7: Preventing Antisemitism, Islamophobia & Religious Discrimination in the Workplace

The focus for our September 2024 event, our seventh and final session of the Safe & Inclusive Workplace Campaign, is on preventing Antisemitism, Islamophobia, and other forms of religious discrimination.

When: Thursday, September 26, 2024, 12:00pm - 1:00pm Eastern time 

Join us as we hear opening remarks from Jeremy Pelter, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Administration. Elyssa Santos-Abrams, Attorney-Advisor, and Gul Chaudhry, Assistant Director, Agency Oversight Division, both from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's Office of Federal Operations, will discuss legal issues related to workplace antisemitism, Islamophobia, and other religious discrimination. This hour-long event will discuss the basic legal analyses under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, including religious harassment and religious accommodations.  Please join us for this final installment of the Safe & Inclusive Workplace Campaign.
