Microsoft Teams Live Event - Link in Description

All,

We are pleased to schedule the NOAA Implementation Kickoff Q&A session for Tuesday, October 26 at 1 PM (EDT). we sent you a link to the NOAA Implementation Year Kickoff Video from the recorded kickoff session. Now that you’ve had a chance to review it, we are inviting you to the NOAA/BIS/EDS/ES-A follow-on Q&A session. This will be a Live Event, which will accommodate up to 10,000 attendees. And you can begin submitting questions for us immediately

To join the meeting (or test it out before the meeting), go to the Live Event directly or copy the hyperlink into your browser.

  • If you have Microsoft Teams installed on your computer, you just need to click Open Microsoft Teams.
  • However, if you do not have Microsoft Teams installed on your computer, you can still access the link without installing:
  • When asked how you want to join, select “Watch on the web instead” – this is the box to the right of the one highlighted.
  • When it asks you to sign in – click the blue command below the sign in box that says – “join anonymously”

This should take you to a window that says, “The live event hasn’t started.” This will indicate that you’ve successfully signed into Live Event.

We encourage you to check out the link and while you’re there, start submitting your questions, using the Question panel on the right of the screen. Our Subject Matter Experts will review pre-submitted questions on October 13th to identify those that will be featured during the beginning of the session. However, you can continue to submit questions anytime. You can also submit questions throughout the meeting/event.

We look forward to having you join us and answering all your questions!
