The Office of the Chief Counsel for International Commerce (OCC-IC) provides legal support for the International Trade Administration (ITA) in promoting and maintaining cross-border data flows in support of U.S. commerce.  OCC-IC also provides programmatic counsel to ITA on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the Global Cross Border Privacy Rules system, and other data transfer mechanisms.
