Catherine F. Iacobazzi Andrade has been with the Department of Commerce Office of the Deputy General Counsel for Administration since 2024, and currently serves as the acting Chief Administrative Officer.  In this role, Ms. Andrade leads the Executive Office providing resource planning, management, and execution of the office’s administrative functions, including budget, human resources, and governance controls.  Ms. Andrade was awarded OGC’s 2024 Mission Support Person of the Year for her efforts.  

Ms. Andrade previously served as the head of Administrative Services in the Office of the Clean Energy Demonstrations at the U.S. Department of Energy, a 200+ person organization with a program budget of over $5 billion.  Ms. Andrade also served as the Corporate Secretary at the U.S. Development Finance Corporation and its predecessor organization, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.  

A native of the DMV with 20+ years of government service, Ms. Andrade resides in Maryland with her husband and son.
