Partnerships Summit 2.0

  • Partnerships Summit 2.0

The Department of Commerce Office of Faith-Based & Neighborhood Partnerships, in partnership with United Way Worldwide and Public Democracy America, will host an in-person, interactive Partnerships Summit in Washington, D.C., aimed at nonprofit leaders to engage and amplify opportunities for collaboration at the national and community levels around program implementation, policy, and community engagement. Our objective is to celebrate the important role and impact of nonprofits around the country, recognize the outstanding work they did to support their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic and educate them on ways they can utilize federal resources and partner more closely with federal agency partners in communities across the United States.

The goal of the summit is to:

  • Celebrate, Empower, & Include – The Partnerships Summit will aim to educate, connect, and celebrate opportunities for nonprofits serving their communities around the country. Commerce bureaus and federal agencies will share their programs, resources, technical assistance, training, and other opportunities for nonprofit partners to explore.
  • Seat at the Table & Center of the Conversation – Provide our nonprofits from urban, rural, and suburban communities with the opportunity to engage face-to-face with program leaders from across the federal government to share their most pressing concerns and needs.
  • Foster Impactful Partnerships — Provide tangible opportunities for nonprofits to actively engage in important Administration initiatives in their communities, including policy implementation and program efforts that are top priorities for the Commerce Department and across the federal government.
