  • People with Disabilities Summit

The Department of Commerce Office of Faith-Based & Neighborhood Partnerships will host an in-person People with Disabilities Summit in Washington, D.C., to amplify and promote disability and neurodivergent inclusive development to empower and include disabled Americans. The summit will provide resources and connections between disabled communities and individuals with key stakeholders in order to stimulate improvements to policies, funding, education, and representation

The goal of the summit is to:

  • Celebrate, Empower, & Include — The People with Disabilities Summit aims to celebrate and connect people with disabilities with appropriate stakeholders to improve and create more impactful opportunities and integrations.
  • Seat at the Table & Center of the Conversation — Provide disabled communities in rural and suburban areas with the opportunity to engage face-to-face with program leaders from across the federal government and share their most pressing concerns and needs.
  • Foster Impactful Partnerships – Provide tangible opportunities for organizations to actively engage in important Administration initiatives in their communities, including policy implementation and program efforts that are top priorities for the Commerce Department and across the federal government.
