The LAB directly supports acquisition teams throughout the Department by providing hands on implementation of innovative procurement techniques and other proven contracting methods, leveraging its subject matter expertise across all functions, to programs throughout the acquisition lifecycle. We offer a practical environment for testing new strategies, sharing real-world lessons, and implementing proven best practices. Our goal is to empower programs to achieve superior mission outcomes through informed risk-taking and continuous improvement.
