The Space Management Division (SMD) is responsible for tracking and recording architectural and space information along with space assignment throughout the Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB). This includes managing dynamic workspaces, hybrid work environments, tenant fit-out projects, repairs, refurbishments, and maintenance. SMD develops code-compliant designs and manages project implementation and procurement of reimbursable contractual services to include construction, furniture, and furnishings.
